Vivekananda Degree College is overall champ

Bhavan's Vivekananda Degree College of Hyderabad emerged the overall champion in the State-level The Hindu Inter-Collegiate E-Plus Club Challenge-2012 held at MVGR College of Engineering at Chintalavalasa near here on Sunday.
The runner-up was Vasavi College of Engineering, Hyderabad.
MVGR College of Engineering emerged the overall champion in the regional finals. The overall first runner-up was Raghu Engineering College and the overall second runner-up was Vignan Engineering College for Women.
State finals
‘On-stage Creative Presentation' events: The best performance in Theatre Arts was won by Dr. Lankapalli Bullayya College of Visakhapatnam. Best performance in dance – Bhavan's Vivekananda Degree College, Hyderabad; overall best performance – Vignan Engineering College of Women;
Group Discussion Regional: The winners are R.J. Yasaswi (GMRIT), Priyanka (MVGR), Poojitha (ANITS), Haritha (Vignan IIT), Krishna Kanth (MVGR), and Soumya (Vignan Women).
The second prize was won by Sumapriya (Pydah College), Divya (Vignan College), M. Srinivas (MVGR), Samudrika (Vignan -Women), Ravali (GMRIT), and Rajani (VIT). V. Manjusha and K. Mounika from Vignan IIT, P. Deepika from Vignan Engineering College for Woman, S.P. Anushita, MVGR College, Aditya Mishra of Raghu Engineering College, and Rangoli of ANITS College won the third place.
Elocution Regional:
Shilpa (GVP Women); Mounika (Prism College); Shukur Khan (Al-Ameer); Anusha (Miracle College of Engineering); Vinuthna (ANITS), and Elroy Ro (Raghu Engineering College) won the first place. The second prize was won by Sravani (Bullayya College); Lahari and Saurabh (Raghu Engineering College); Swetha (GMRIT); Sunanda (Raghu Institute of Technology), and Haripriya (RIT). The third prize went to Seema (Prism College); Sindhu (ANITS); Giri (Prism Degree College); Amruta (Raghu Engineering College); K. Sushma (Prism), and Shushmita Singh (Prism).
Quiz Regional:
MVGR College emerged the winners followed by another team from their own college, and the third prize went to Vignan Engineering College for Women.
Quiz State final:
The teams from Bhavan's College, Hyderabad, won the first and third places and the second position was secured by Vignan, Guntur.
Paper presentation regional:
Raghu Engineering College won the first place followed by Vignan IIT and Sri Prakash Engineering College.
Paper Presentation State final:
Raghu Engineering College won the first place followed by Bhavan's College and Vasavi College.
Group Discussion State final:
Dipika Ravali (Vignan Women), B. Krishnakant (MVGR), and Noushiba Azim (MJ College of Engineering)
Elocution State final:
Sohiti (Vasavi College), Jicky (Vignan University), and Suman Sourabh (Raghu Engineering College) emerged the winners. The first runners-up were Manisha Raj and Nikhita (Bhavan's College) and Koundinya (MVGR), and the second runners-up were Akshaya, Nivali, and Vivek (all from Bhavan's College). The event was held in association with Conduira Education and Training Services.
Prize money
The State-level winner walked away with a cash prize of Rs.25,000 while the runner-up bagged a cash prize of Rs.15,000. The regional champions of the Visakhapatnam region got a cash prizes of Rs.10,000 and the first and second runners-up got Rs.5,000 and Rs.2,500 respectively. Apart from the main trophies, there were trophies and cash awards for each of the events. The judges who participated in the various events included G. Rambabu, Sree Kiran Babu, and Marina Manoj of APTECH; Sangita Sehgall, Vinay Sehgall, and Shyla Kurma from The Launch Pad; Dr. Indira, Dr. Nalini Dutta, and Nivedita Antyakula from St. Joseph's College for Women; Sai Lakshmi from Government Polytechnic College; Uma Shankar, P. Bhanumathi, and Aryabhatla Rammohan from Conduira; Lalita Manyapu from CTC Communications; Prof. Bobby Vardhan and Dr. K.V. Ramesh from Andhra University; Shankar Patra from PRIME, and Dr. V. Venkat Rao from M R College. The creative presentations were judged by Dwaram Tyagaraju, S.A. Rao, and Bathina Vikram Goud.
