Eplus Clubs launched in three colleges

MRPG College, Vizianagaram, launched six The Hindu Education Plus clubs (E-Plus club) for this academic year.
Launching the clubs, Director of the college K. Hanumantha Rao said that training programmes and activities like E-Plus club play a vital role in moulding future managers and workforce.
He pointed out that soft skills and presentation skills should be part of every management graduate.
Addressing the students, The Head of the Department of Management studies Dr. P. S. Subbarao pointed out that good communication skills clubbed with commitment will give confidence.
Delivering a seminar after the launch on communication skills, Director of CTC Communications urged students to aim high. He advised students and club members to take up E-Plus activity seriously.
VIT launches four clubs
Vizag Institute of Technology (VIT), Dakamari, launched four E-Plus clubs at its campus on Thursday.Addressing the students, Chairman of the college G. Siva Sankar Rao urged students to be part of the development process of the country.“You have to combine academics with English language skills to do well in this global village,” he said.
Executive Vice-President of Winzest, Vijay Pasupulati, gave an overview of the industry and what it expects from the students.

MVR College
Students of MVR Degree and PG College joined students of MVR College of Engineering to initiate five E-plus clubs on Friday. Addressing the students, the Secretary and Correspondent of the college Dr. V. Rama Rao said that mere academic knowledge will not be sufficient to get a good job. “You have to combine your academic knowledge with general knowledge and soft skills, and for which you have to read good books and at least one reputed English newspaper like The Hindu ,” he said. Delivering a seminar on positive attitude, the Director of APTECH Kiranbabu pointed out, “You will have 10 to 15 minutes to prove your mettle in an interview and this is where attitude plays an important role.” Elaborating on attitude he said, “Positive attitude includes things such as values, standards, judgement, motives, ethics and beliefs. Positive attitude is the key to success.” Another Director of APTECH G. Rambabu said, “Dare to dream and create a plan to achieve that dream.” The Principal of MVR Degree College A. Balakrishna and Principal of MVR College of Engineering S. Rammohan Rao spoke.
