Seminar on communication today

VISAKHAPATNAM: CTC Communications will be conducting a seminar on stress and fear of language in the city on two days from January 31. Announcing this at a media conference here on Thursday, Managing Director of CTC Communications in the city A.S. Prasad, said that the seminar would be held on January 31 at the Public Library opposite BVK College from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and on the next day, at the VJF Press Club in Dabagardens from 10 a.m. to 12 noon.

Interactive session

The seminar will be an interactive session aimed at managing stress and allaying fears and phobias related to language, communication, interviews resulting in success and happiness. The objective is to transfer combat strategies to enhance performance through external and internal communication. "The seminar will be very useful in the wake of the sudden shrinking of job market, he said.

Attitudinal change

Mr. Prasad insisted that communication skills did not mean language skills and grammar and it had more to do with attitudinal change. He had so far trained over 50,000 individuals and corporate sector employees over the past ten years.

“Our is life membership. Those who are trained by us keep coming back to share their joy in achieving goals and also to upgrade knowledge and arm themselves adequately to face new challenges,” he stated.

Directors A.S. Murthy, ANM Sharma and Shalini were also present.
